Payette, Idaho. The Payette County Board of County Commissioners have passed a resolution to close the Payette County Courthouse to the public effective March 24, 2020 through April 20, 2020. The Board of County Commissioners have made this decision in abundance of caution in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. The Commissioners are concerned with the health and well being of the public and our staff. The Board of County Commissioners will re-evaluate the closure of the courthouse and may modify, extend, or terminate the closure of the Payette County Courthouse.
The public is encouraged to call and make an appointment for any urgent business matters that need to be conducted with the offices in Payette County. There are numerous transactions that can be completed over the phone, email, fax, mail, or internet. Below is a list of the transactions that can be completed in alternate ways.
There are envelopes and a dropbox in the northwest entrance to the courthouse. The public can drop off paperwork for any office in the Payette County Courthouse in this dropbox.
